Project Self Help is a program designed to assist low-income individuals/families receiving SNAP or Unemployment Benefits to accept a job offer by providing:
Items Needed to Accept Employment:
(Such as uniforms, TWIC cards, tools, gasoline until the first paycheck, etc.)
Gasoline until the first paycheck:
(car must be registered in the applicant's name)
Tuition Assistance:
Funding is available to cover a portion of the costs of tuition, books/supplies
for students seeking to obtain a degree to work as a Certified Nurses’ Assistant or
Phlebotomist from Fletcher Technical Community College Schools
